MEET THE CLINIC MANAGERS
Kim Bonds, PTA
Kim Bonds has been a PTA for 22 years. Kim is a lifelong resident of Corner, AL and graduate of Corner High School. After graduating from Wallace State, she started her PTA career at Carraway Hospital and then transitioned into outpatient therapy. She worked in the Gardendale area for the past 17 years and the last 10 of those years she worked as a Clinic Director.
Kim has been married to Brandon Bonds for 21 years. They have 2 daughters. Brantly is a Junior at Jacksonville State University where she plays softball. Kamryn is a Junior at Corner High School and enjoys dancing and working at a local daycare. Kim enjoys spending time with her friends and family, and she loves most anything Disney or Christmas related.
Kim is passionate about caring for others and giving the best care possible. She is very thankful to be able to provide care for her surrounding communities. Kim says, “this is an area that has been unserved for much too long”.
Braxton Clifton, DPT
Braxton is a physical therapist at Summit Physical Therapy. Braxton has been married to his wife Gara for three years and they currently live in Gardendale and have two dogs. Braxton is a friend to many in the surrounding communities of Sumiton. Prior to working at Summit Physical Therapy, Braxton had two years of experience practicing in outpatient physical therapy where he studied under therapists who specialize in sports, orthopedics, and neuro. Braxton is certified in dry needling.
Prior to his work experience Braxton received a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Alabama State University in 2019, and a Bachelor of Kinesiology degree from UAB in 2016.
Braxton graduated from high school at Sumiton Christian in 2012. There he played baseball, basketball, and football. In 2012 he was named Mr-Best-All-Around-Eagle which is an honor given to one male student each year.
Braxton looks forward to serving the people in the surrounding communities and providing skilled physical therapy care.
